Yoga

Yoga is HARD! My sister and I ran yesterday with the dogs and we decided that we'd do a yoga class this morning. It was supposed to be the "easier" yoga class. My sweat proved that it was NOT that easy at all. We're going to do a kickboxing class on Monday night, and try to make a habit of doing this stuff each week together. Its so much more fun and motivating to exercise with someone else. I'm definitely more likely to go if I've made plans with someone. I am now exhausted and hopefully will actually be able to sleep tonight for once!

18 pounds

I started my weight loss journey in December. I got a gym membership, started walking dogs, gave up soda, tried to only eat when I was hungry. And so far I've managed to lose 18 pounds. I haven't stuck to my program exactly. Its been a couple weeks since I've gone to the gym. I've starting drinking soda, and more or less watched what I eat. I'm no where near I was before with soda, where I could easily down a 2 liter a day. I've more or less cut back to around 20 ounces a day or less. I credit most my weight loss just to walking dogs everyday for my sister's business. The last few weeks I've managed to lose 2 pounds each week. I'm hoping to keep that up. I really need to start going to the gym again. One thing I've found is that it's very hard to find work out gear for someone my size. Apparently XXL size spandex are meant for girls who are size 14/16 which I'm not. When did that happen? That 14/16 would be considered XXL? I would kill to be 14/16. I'd feel normal again. But apparently current fashion considers that super fat. I try looking at the big girl stores and my options for "activewear" are baggy sweatpants and ugly tshirts. I want to wear shorts or spandex leggings and tank tops and a sports bra, but every place I look for such things they dont' have my size. So if you see anything that is like that let me know!
